Every year since 1998, I’ve gone to visit my Grandma in Wisconsin over Memorial Day Weekend. When she was still in her house, we always bought geraniums to plant in her flower boxes and in the front yard around the bushes.
In her house, she had a Conn organ for as long as I could remember. She would play and fill the house with music. She always encouraged my music and loved it when I’d play for her.
She was a talented artist, and learned how to rosemal fairly late in life. I’m fortunate to have a few of her pieces in my home.
Three things that will always remind me of Grandma.
