It’s that time of year again. Mailboxes are being stuffed with the W-2 forms for all USA taxpayers. As the saying goes, the only sure things in life are death and taxes.
Throughout the year, many people keep track of their charitable donations to deduct from their taxes. Usually, December 31st is the end of deductions for that calendar year.
This year, the IRS has stepped up to encourage donations to Haiti. If you donate to a Haitian Relief Organization before February 28th, 2010, you can deduct it from your 2009 taxes!
Just one more good reason to donate. If you’re looking for a place to share your blessings, please consider New Life for Haiti.
